Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I moved to New Providence in summer 2018 and we came all the way from Berlin, Germany

Three girls aged 8,5 and almost 2
Favorite things to do with your kids?
Reading books, building Legos and being outdoors! Building huts, collecting sticks and stones, playing basketball, riding bikes

Latin American Deli in New Providence for their Breakfast Burritos (OMG!!!)

Favorite form of self care?
In summertime – spending time gardening
In wintertime – reading a book all snuggled under a blanket on the sofa
Are you involved in a business venture, a local organization, a creative endeavor, or in the corporate world? Please share!
We are a nature loving family and we spend a lot of our day outside. When the pandemic hit and there was no chance to go and be with our family in Europe, I invented Tree to comfort my children and to ensure them that everything will be alright and we can overcome anything, the only thing they’d have to remember is to never lose their hearts.
“The Big Adventure Of A Little Tree: Tree Finds Friendship” is a book about the power of love, friendship and kindness. It’s the adventure of a little tree who changes it’s mindset, leaves the beaten path, and overcomes obstacles to do the impossible.

You’re tallest in the morning, so get up early and start rocking your show!
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I once went snorkeling with humpback wales.
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
I have never felt more confident in trying new things than the moment we moved to the US. New Providence in general is an incredible welcoming and caring community. When I started my author journey, I was approached by so many different people all showing their interest and their support – it’s an amazing place for an author and I can find stories everywhere I go.
