I’m originally from Brooklyn, NY, and now I live in Union Township, NJ.

Yes, I’m a mom to two daughters, ages 12 and 7.

What is your favorite local activity to do with your kids in Union County?
We love finding simple, meaningful ways to spend time together—whether it’s exploring local parks, grabbing a bite to eat as a family, or discovering fun community spots that let the kids just be kids and burn energy in a safe, welcoming environment.
Do you own a business and if so what can you tell us about it? Why did you start this business? What did you do for a living before?
Yes—I own M & Em’s Imagination in Union, NJ, which we opened this year. I am also currently a registered nurse. Nursing has always been my foundation, rooted in care, safety, and attention to detail—values I’ve carried directly into building this space for children.

What made you start the business?
After moving to Union, NJ when my children were younger, I quickly noticed a gap in the community—there were no indoor play spaces designed specifically with toddlers in mind, and that need still exists in Union Township today. That realization is what ultimately inspired the creation of M and Em’s Imagination.
My goal was to build a space that felt intentional in every way: safe, thoughtfully designed, and never overcrowded. It is a place where young children can explore and play freely, parents can feel comfortable and at ease, and older siblings have engaging activities to keep them entertained. Parents can also enjoy the decor and design of the space, which was carefully created to feel warm, inviting, and visually inspiring.
At its core, M and Em’s Imagination is about more than play—it’s about creating a welcoming environment that supports the whole family and fosters creativity, connection, and community.
What can Union County expect from M and Em’s Imagination?
Union County can expect M and Em’s Imagination to be a welcoming, community-centered space where creativity and connection come first. My goal is to provide families, children, and local creatives with a place to explore ideas, have fun, connect, and feel inspired.
We’re committed to partnering with local schools, libraries, daycares, and small businesses while hosting events that bring people together. At its heart, M and Em’s Imagination is about creating an environment where everyone feels included, supported, and part of something truly special.
What do you like to do as a mom to unwind in Union County?
As a mom, I like to unwind by taking advantage of the peaceful spots right here in Union County. A walk through Nomahegan Park is one of my favorite ways to reset—it’s quiet, scenic, and gives me a chance to clear my mind.
I also enjoy treating myself to a spa day when I can, even if it’s just a short visit to relax and recharge. Those small moments of self-care make a big difference and help me show up as my best self for my family.
